Our Next Queensland Trip – Carnarvon Gorge

Posted on

Well it’s been a while since I’ve written but there has been lots in the planning stages while Tim from Custom Web Creations has been weaving his magic and turning my blog into a website.

So where to next!!!

Since I am back at work, I only have two weeks leave available so we’ve decided to head out to Carnarvon Gorge and check it out.

We’ll head out with the caravan and have booked 3 nights at Takarakka Bush Resort. After enjoying some of the walks and some cooler weather we head north and back out to the coast via Moura to stay 3 nights at Tannum Sands near Gladstone. There will be some free camping on our journey and Glenn is sourcing fire wood for the cooler nights without power.

We’ve checked out the caravan and it really doesn’t seem like we need to pack much for only two weeks – food, clothes and toiletries. Glenn is replacing the water in our tanks and the car and jerry cans are already full of fuel.

Stay tuned for all of the fun.
