Out to Sea

After setting sail last night we woke this morning to a nice cup of tea in our cabin and then to plan our day. After breakfast and a bit more exploring where everything is we found the Trivia Challenge and teamed up with another lady to have some fun. This was followed by taking part in the Win a Diamond Pendant draw. Well why not, someone had to win it. It wasn’t us this time. I left Julie for a chance to play Carpet Bowls and even managed to score a point. With this cruise demographic there are a lot of bowlers on board so I felt good about that.

We decided on a nice lunch at Da Vinci restaurant and shared a table with other passengers. This is a great way to get to know others and we both enjoyed the Beef Bourguignon and Crème Caramel which were small serves for lunch. After lunch we headed to the pool area and found some lounges to enjoy the Movie under the Stars which was the singalong version of The Greatest Showman before heading in for a nap. The added hour to catch up with the time difference caught up to us.

Back on deck after our nap we had fun enjoying a drink and a Shania Twain concert on the movie screen and then a light early dinner at the buffet. We did a quick change in to our formal attire and had our photos taken before enjoying the Comedy show in the Princess Theatre. We headed for more games fun with Majority Rules Gameshow and then joined a couple of our lunch companions for the Decades Trivia Challenge which was musically themed.

We have to put our watches forward another hour tonight so it’s midnight before we are in bed.
